About The Great Cake Off

Get ready for a sweet and creative battle in The Great Cake Off. Teams or individuals will go head-to-head to design and decorate the most imaginative and delicious-looking cake. Each team is provided with a plain cake base and a budget to purchase their selection of frosting, toppings and decorations to bring their cake masterpiece to life.

The clock is ticking as teams race against time to craft their edible works of art, using their imagination, teamwork, and flair for design. Your host will keep you on your toes by introducing surprises and new rules such as mystery ingredients and one-handed decoration.

Once the decorating frenzy ends, the cakes will be presented to the judge, who will score based on creativity, originality, teamwork, budget management and presentation.

Will your cake stand out as the most whimsical, hilarious, or delicious? Who will take the cake? There’s only one way to find out! Get ready for some sweet fun, laughter, and a whole lot of frosting!

Cake design can be customised to incorporate themes relevant to your organisation or industry.

The event can be done to start or finish a team off-site or conference. It can be brought straight into a meeting or conference venue with minimal set-up.

Event details

Snapshot: Fun, light-hearted, team-based challenge. Teams must decorate a cake and win over the CluedUp judges.

Duration: 60-90 minutes.

Participants: Minimum of 6 people. Suitable for large groups

Location: Your choice of venue in Auckland, Wellington, Christchurch, Hamilton, Rotorua, Tauranga, Taupo, Palmerston North, Dunedin, Queenstown, Wanaka, New Plymouth or anywhere in New Zealand
