About this event
Safety First is a fun, interactive, indoor activity designed to teach and explore issues of health and safety in a fun environment that encourages participation and learning. Teams complete a series of challenges based on your key health and safety objectives. We tailor each event to your particular requirements. So it’s serious learning that is fun and interactive.
We set the scene with a fun, high energy whole group energiser that gets everyone in the mood and at the same time demonstrates the importance of keeping everyone safe. Your group is then divided into teams (4-6 people per team). Each team’s aim is to get as many ticks on their safety checklist as they can by completing challenges. The challenges include:
What Would You Do?
Teams are presented with a health and safety ‘scenario’. Each team must come up with a response – what would they do and why?
True or False?
Teams must answer true or false statements based on a range of situations.
OK / Not OK
A quick fire round where we test participants on health and safety. Is it OK or not OK?
Spot the difference
Teams are presented with a couple of scenarios. These are role plays presented by the CluedUp team based on real workplace situations. Teams have to spot the difference between the two and correctly identify the health and safety issues presented.
The event can be designed to fit 60 to 90 minutes. It concludes with a de-brief where participates discuss the issues raised and what they have learned from taking part.
