Kia ora ASPEQ and welcome to Move On Up!

Let's get ready to Move On Up next week!

The challenge runs from 9am Monday 6 October to 12pm Friday 10 October (NZT).

Sounds interesting. How does it work?

Your mission is to earn as many points as possible by walking and answering questions — that's right you earn points simply by moving around.

In fact, you can walk, run, bike, skip, hop, scoot, skate, cartwheel — any movement you like — as long as you stay under 30 km/hr. Every time you move 200 metres, you earn points. You then receive a question to earn bonus points. The questions are a variety of trivia, brain teasers, general knowledge and photo challenges.

Sounds fun. How do I enter?

Move On Up is played in teams. You can have either 5 or 6 people in your team.

Best of all, your team members do not have to be in the same city, town or even country as you. That's right, you can join forces with ASPEQ staff anywhere in the world to create your team!

All you have to do is contact other ASPEQ staff, form a team, then send the names of people in your team and of course your team name to Amie Cripps:

amie.cripps@aspeq.com by 5pm this Wednesday 1 October.

What else do I need to know or do?

To take part, you need a mobile device with an app called Action Track installed. It's free, quick and easy to install.

On Thursday, we will publish on this page all the teams along with instructions for downloading the app and a few helpful tips so that everyone can get ready for Monday's start.

Are there prizes?

You bet! There will be prizes for the winning team and individual spot prizes.

      Sounds great, I'm in!

Awesome, gather your team together today and send the details to Amie.

We look forward to seeing you Move On Up next week.
