About this event

Just like a successful organisation, a bike is made up of many small parts that need to work together. Collect all the parts of your bike, race against the clock to assemble it, then race it against the other teams in a series of mad-cap fun challenges.

Afterwards, the bikes can be donated to the charity of your choice, providing a memorable 'feel good' factor for participants!

In Part One, teams make their way to check-points. At each check-point they complete a physical, mental or creative problem-solving challenge.

Some challenges require the whole team to take part, with one or two team members taking a ‘leadership’ role. When a team completes a task they receive a ‘bike part’. In Part One, teams must collect their full allocation of bike parts . When the teams have collected all of their parts, they assemble at the designated meeting location with the other teams.

In Part Two each team assembles their bike. They must pass the all important WOF test. As well as building their bike, there are other roles including creating a team uniform, creating a finish line banner, bike decoration and rider selection for the race!

In Part Three, teams compete in the final challenge. A series of races using their bike These are clue-based and relay style races based on skill and creativity as opposed to speed. It is high energy, interactive and great to watch!

Part Four is the event prize giving! As well as results for the participants, this provides a wonderful opportunity to invite representatives of your chosen charity to receive the bikes. This is optional but provides a poignant and meaningful conclusion to a memorable day.
