About Charity Challenge
Charity Challenge is an exciting, fresh, new take on the 'Amazing Race' scavenger hunt, treasure hunt style event.
Teams raise money to donate to a charity of your choice. It can be one charity or each team can choose a different charity to raise money for. You choose the amount or type of gift you want to donate.
We incorporate bespoke challenges at selected checkpoints where teams must do a charitable act or raise funds for their charity such as pop-up busking, selling soft toys, random act of kindness, food donation at a local supermarket.
Teams travel on foot or by car around your chosen location. They receive clues, instructions and navigational guidance on their smart phones (or other portable device) via our user-friendly mobile app.
The event starts with a briefing, download of the app and explanation of the format and rules. Each checkpoint presents a different challenge – teams will find themselves solving clues and completing a series of more involved problem-solving challenges presented by the CluedUp hosts at selected checkpoints.
Charity Challenge ends with a race de-brief, a photo presentation of the best, results and a presentation to representatives of your chosen charities.
All aspects of the event: the difficulty, location, types of challenges, team size, and duration can be tailored to suit your group. Tasks can also be customised to incorporate your charitable messages or organisation's values and other communication objectives.
The game can be enhanced by converting the points that the teams earn into a further donation of cash or gift in kind. This is optional.
